 Founded in 1892, Glen Arven is one of the oldest clubs in America. Its 120 year history is right and fascinating: Ben Hogan, Gene Sarazen, Byron Nelson and many other golf legends walked its fairways during the last 1930s when Glen Arven was a stop on the fledgling PGA tour. It was on the 18th hole of Glen Arven in 1956 that then president Dwight D. Eisenhower deemed himself fit enough to run for another term as President of the United States.
